Please help
I've been burning a few vcd/svcds with mixed results using nero,
recently i invested in a new cd writer for my computer, its only a cd writer
"lite on" model and i also have a samsung combo dvd rom.
My problem is when i try to burn a vcd etc using my new cd writer it will only put an image to the hard drive, because in the "choose recorder" option when i choose my new cd writer it is displayed as an "inage recorder".
Please tell me there is a way of using this new recorder with nero and i havent chucked my money away.
Any help appreciated

Your version of Nero was set for your old CD-RW, i.e. Sony, Samsung, etc. The new recorder is an LG and Nero does not have the interface enabled for it. If you got Nero with the LG drive either use the serial number that came with Nero (from LG) or reload the Nero(from LG). When Nero sends out their software with manufactures drives they send along serial numbers that will only enable the interfaces for that brand drive. You could also contact Nero and purchase a serial number that enables all interfaces.
