Nero's SVCD plugin

I have aquired the svcd plugin for Nero. But I cant seem to activate it. Can anyone help me with this ?

Did you get VMPEG2Enc.dll and copy it in the nero directory ?

Get rid of it. Don't use Nero to encode to MPEG2 (which is what Neros SVCD plugin attempts to do). Use the right tool for each task - an encoder to encode, Nero to burn. Nero seems to aspire to the title of "Swiss Army Knife" and everyone who's tried to do some serious work with a Swiss army knife knows how that ends!

No offence here, but ... comparing Nero's SVCD Plug-in with a Swiss Army Knife? What an insult to the swiss army knife that is

Have also tried the Nero add-in to convert to SVCD. Too much wait for too little quality. Tmpgenc is much better and equally fast. Mainconcept is excellent and very fast. CCE Basic is slightly better (in quality) and even cheaper. Don't encode with Nero.

Don't get me wrong - I actually have a Swiss Army knife on my key ring... I was referring to the trend that Nero (and many other) seems to be thinking that "more is better". Soon they'll incorporate a word processor, spread sheet too...
