    Hi there,
I'm trying to convert an AVI file to SVCD, adding subtitles. I’, fileserving in Virtualdub and encoding in TMPGEnc. For splitting each AVI in 2 CDs, I’m using the range thing in virtualdub, but the problem is that when you tell virtualdub to start frameserving from some Frame different from the first one, audio get out of sync. Audio is fine, the length of it matches the length of the movie, and it’s just a sync problem.

    Any clues?

    We need serious help.

  2. In that case I would suggest frameserving the whole thing in one go and splitting the resulting mpeg to fit it on two CD's.

How do you split it?, are there programs to split without reencoding?
