dual head dvd display?

Hi,

I am using a late-model Compaq (unsure of model) and XP. We have a couple of programs that understand dual-head displays: song-base (displays words of songs on projector, and 'dashboard' on laptop) and powerpoint (same thing). We would like to show DVDs the same way, but when I try to play the DVD on the projector, it does nothing. Running it off the laptop monitor works fine.

Is there a software DVD player that understands the main/secondary monitor configuration used with projectors?

The Matrox 550 will toggle between 2 displays and 1 display with DVD on each
but I DUNNO OF one duAL-HEAD card that does DVD in both PRI and SEC
Two single DISPLAY CARDS is your best option here.. Even some of them will only display VIDEO in the primary
