  1. I have some problem with adobe premiere 6.5.
Well first of all the video stops for some seconds from time to time, like it have lost frames. I have tried to use differente codec's and stuff. Like when i encoded a tvshow to vcd mpeg-1 i was shitty as hell, like it lost frames all the time.
Second of all the audio get unsynced when i encode to mpeg-1 or 2, and i have no ide at all. Of course is the audio synced on the source.
Hope someone can help me out.

  2. Premire uses a lot of resources. Turn off all background programs. What capture card are you using? Are you using Firewire or MJPEG card? Some info about your setup would help.

I have a Dell P4 1800MHz, 512 ram. I capture with a Hauppauge WinTV GO. I capture the the shows with showshifter 1.5 with PIC video MJPEG compressor, 352x288 25fps, and there's almoust bo loss of frames there.
When I use Premiere to cut and then encode the video I use mpeg-1 352x288, 1150Kbit/s, 25fps.
And i have like one other program running when i encode.
