    sasi,
    decided to take your advice and try mainconcept encoder but i'm used to ripping then using dvd2avi to make my d2v file but mainconcept won't except it.........what am i doing wrong

    -just drop the vobs into mainconcept .. ac3 files and all if you want ..

    if you DO want to use dvd2avi ... convert the d2v file with vfapi to a fake avi file ..
