Using the Nero Status bar to see if the file will fit on the CDR isn't so exact. The following image shows the file size for a SVCD with 4 different bitrates: 2144, 2145, 2146, 2147.
now, i know the bitrates aren't all that different and you wouldn't be able to see the difference, but i guess i'm just picky.
the only REAL way i can find out if the SVCD will fit is if i actually burn it onto a CDR, and i've wasted many of them for this reason, even though i have lots of CDRs. for some reason, it won't fit on a blank CDRW.
is there a way change the scale to focus in and make that 800MB mark larger? or is there some way to make Nero check to see if the SVCD will fit without having to actually burn it?
thanks.
