I've got a couple AVI files that I want to burn to DVD format. Using the AVICodec utility, it reports this about the files:

Video : 210 Mb, 681 Kbps, 29.970 fps, res. 480*192 (2.50:1), DIV3 = DivX v3 MPEG-4 (Low-Motion), Supported
Audio : 93 Kb, 96 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 2 chan., 0x55 = MPEG Layer-3, Supported

I loaded ULead's MovieFactory 2 demo. I followed one of the guides here to create a project, added the AVI files (clips), it convert them to MPEGs, then made the DVD ISO. I then burned a DVD(-RW). When I play it with PowerDVD, I get video but no audio. If I skip to the next clip (next AVI file), I get about 10 seconds of audio but then the audio disappears. Video seems OK through all clips.

I changed the audio from PCM to MPEG as suggested in one of the guides, but still can't get the DVD to play with sound. I've tried a couple different variations on the settings, reburned the DVD several times but just can't get it.

When I take the files that MovieFactory converted & left behind and run them through AVICodec, I got the following:

Set 1:
Video : 0 b, 6000 Kbps, 29.970 fps, res. 704*480 (16:9), MPG2 = MPEG 2 (SVCD/DVD), Supported
Audio : 0 b, 224 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 chan., 0x51 = Mpeg-1 audio Layer 2 [0xc0], Supported

Set 2:
Video : 2 Gb, 6000 Kbps, 29.970 fps, res. 704*480 (16:9), MPG2 = MPEG 2 (SVCD/DVD), Supported
(popup box saying LPCM streams not supported yet, no audio description)

The first set of files was with audio set to MPEG, the second was LPCM.

I went down the MovieFactory path because I never had much luck with TMPGENC.

Can somebody give me a clue or two? Thanks in advance!
