I've started my first Screenplay!

I've made numerous videos as a hobby, but I've just now started on my first serious screenplay. I've gotten about 10 pages so far and everyone who has read it has really liked it and wanted to know what was going to happen next, they were really getting into it. I've very pumped about this and just wanted to share with ya'll.

I"m up to about 15-20 pages now. It seems to be going very well!

I would be honored if you would let me read it. If not I understand and truly wish you the best. Also what kind of director would you compare yourself too? I love Richard Kelly from the US.

I'll give ya'll all the details later, when I have more time. Who knows maybe I'll upload it to my website and let people read it as I write it.

As for director style I would have to say that I really love works by Stanley Kubrick and Guy Richie (sp? on both). I love fast action and odd angles. I'll give ya'll a discription probably Monday when I have more time to write it out.

The basic idea is the story of my life. It starts off the a guy, Patrick Rodgers, who has A.D.D. and thinks differently than everyone else. We is on his own and is critical of everything and everyone. He then finds a girl who can basically bridge the gap between him and the rest of the world.

I'm about to buy professional Screenwriting software Final Draft Pro 6. It also seems that I have found someone that will help me with the movie. He has been looking for a project like this for a while. He has cameras, lights, and numerous other items we will need later for production. I'm still working on the script now.....I'm getting very excited about this!

my daughter has a form of ADD,and i think thats cool that your trying this.
are you going to submit it to a movie studio?

Eventually I hope to make it myself and submit it to the Sundance Film Festival.

I believe I have a light form of ADD. I find it very hard to focus on certain things and find it very difficult to remember school things, but I can remember small details of movies and can sit and watch movies 24/7. I can really focus on movies for some reason....

Things are still moving along very nicely with the script. I hope to turn out a first draft fairly soon.

Actually my story has evolved away from the ADD topic. It is now more about that times I had in high-school with my friends. It is like "High-school in the real world", not the hollywood view of high-school.

By the time it goes through the "Hollywood" process it ends up being about a school of super hero's who have to score by the end of senior year. Starring Robert Redford, Paul Neuman, Michael Caine and Ian McKellen as the high school students of course.

I hope if it happens you manage to cast some ugly people . There's nothing worse than a bunch of gorgeous 25 year olds playing teenagers and complaining about how terrible high school is when you're not good looking and athletic.
