  1. Hello all..

I have alot of VCDs , they are musics vcds with foreign language. The songs cant be found in kazaa or ANY sharing progams.

So if anyone know how could rip all those songs and save them as wav or even mp3.

I want to hear those songs when im on vacation with my mp3 player.

I would be glad if you people could help and solve this problem.

    thank you,

use vcdgear to extract the *.dat file from the vcd to an mpg

then use virtualdub to extract the wav from the movie.

  3. After converting it to mpeg you could also use cool edit , more fun cause you can edit it then , causing all kinds of sync problems hehehe. And with cool edit you can save the sound file as what ever you like for the most part.

  5. a better idea would be to convert the dat back to mpeg with vcdxrip or whatever and then use tmpg's mpeg tools or some other demuxing program to demux the mp2 audio. That way you would still have it compressed @ 224kbps without having to re encode and lose quality or have 1411kbps wav files.
