  1. i've a lot of small video clips in mpeg, asaf and a few in avi format, what i want to do is join them together so they become a large file rather then a 2mb here and a 5mb there, but when i tried to do this in tmpgenc i got a message that says the bitrates are diffrent and i can't join them together,is there any way around this?
p.s i am new to this so i apologise if this sounds a bit thick headed

  2. Using TMPGEnc:
Encode all files individually at same bitrate, resolution, etc. then Multiplex.

  4. i've just done what moviegeek told me to do and the result was'nt what i expected, after multiplex the two files became one but only the first file plays back,i guess i did'nt explain what i wanted clearly,i want to take a 5 minute clip and a 3 minute clip so that it becomes a 8 minute clip, after the the 5 minutes the 3 minute clip starts playing and so on if i join more together, the good news is that i've learned how to get past the bitrate problem
