I've been encoding MPEG2 files at about 1600 constant bitrate and authoring with VCDeasy as VCDs using the header trick. After encoding 60 minutes of video, I play it with Power DVD and it correctly dipslays the time as a 60 minute video. After doing the VCD header trick as a MPEG1 video, I can still open it up with Power DVD and the time is correct. When I go to author with VCDeasy, it will say about 76 minutes. I burn and then open it up with Power DVD and it correctly displays it as 60 minutes. However when I insert the disk in my panasonic RV32 it reads it as 76 minutes. The VCD plays and looks great, its just that the time doesn't correspond correctly. Is this a problem with VCDeasy or is it my Panasonic? While not a big deal I'm wondering if the panasonic thinks it's at 1150 bitrate when actually its at 1600.
Thanks for any info.
Tim
