  1. When I'm resizng a captured avi down to svcd size I use VirtualDub's Precise bicubic (A=10) but should I click off the [] Interlaced (not recommended for enlarging) option ???

    And consider making life much easier by using FitCD to create an Avisynth file at SVCD resolution to encode. 8)

    I've downloaded Avisynth but I don't like the idea of having to write syntax to do something a GUI can do. I guess it comes from my previous job were I programed all day in Clipper to find out how much easier it was to do the same thing in Visual Basic and Delphi.

    Avisynth is something I'm not interested in right now as it may be more controllable (and give better results ?) but it seems a HUGE step backwards.....

    Give me a gui for it and I maybe tempted....

    FitCD is a GUI for creating basic Avisynth scripts, amongst other things. 8)
