Okay,
this is the first time I have tried to create a VCD and I am having some problems. I captured the .avi from my digital video camera using a firewire connection. I then converted that to .mpg, and then converted it to a .bin. I burned that to a CD, and tried to play it on my cheap GE DVD player (it wouldn't work at all on my Toshiba 2109). The video works (it is a little blocky on my 35" JVC), but I get no audio. I have the DVD connected using an optical digital connection. I have changed the audio on the DVD player from bitstream to PCM, and neither worked. Is there something I am missing to get the sound to work?
Thanks for all suggestions.
Brian
