  1. I'm having problems burning a svcd on dvd. I'm doing all the stuff that I'm supposed to, sound to 48KHz and so on. I've tried with Ulead MF and Nero but the same thing happens on my Mustek 300. The movie turns up on the screen in the correct ration but it is all jerky and "blocky". The sound is ok.

Anyone know what I can do (if anything) to get it to work. The player works ok with SVCD on CD-R. It looks like there might be some problem with the video bitrate or something...

I also have a Pioneer 606 player but that doesn't work either, the picture turns up on the screen looking great except for one major thing: The picture is shifted 50% to the left. That is, half the picture is outside the screen! Anyone have any tips for that one?

If your dealing with one SVCD disk then I would author it with Ifoedit 0.95,it will accept the 480x480 resolution and the 44100 audio. It will correct the headers in the ifo file it creates and will author from the 44100 audio. Just demux into m2v and mp2 streams, you should rename the mp2 to mpa. Then load the m2v and mpa into Ifoedit 0.95 and it will create playable DVD-R with correct aspect ratio.
