Does anyone know how to remove a channel (say the right one) from mpeg1 video? I have an mpeg stream with different languages on each channel and I need to eliminate one.

Use something like tmpgenc to demux (under File | MPEG Tools) your audio and video streams into seperate files. Then take your audio file and open it up in a sound editor such as soundforge or cooledit, delete the channel you don't wan't, copy the other channel to the deleted side and save. Go back into tmpgenc to remux and you're set.
