    Anyone know if VD can do this? I have looked through the menus but haven't been able to find a way to export a frame to bmp/gif/jpg etc.

    If VD doesn't do it, and you know of another freeware application that does, please reply with the name of the app

    alternatively go to frame you want to save. Then go to video - copy source frame to clipboard, and paste it into picture program. U can output jpegs etc in TMPGenc too.
    you know it's the anti-Midas touch when all you touch goes to shit..............
