    I am trying transfer my vhs tapes onto one of the vcd formats. Capturing video is done with the pic video mjpeg codec set at 18. It is a TV series with each episode running 45min. After editing out the credits its about 42min each. I want to fit at least 2 episodes per 80 min cdr. I played around with the settings in tmpenc. Since I am capturing video from my mono vcr(crappy sound) i set the bitrate to 96. I was wondering which one of the following would yield the best results:
    XVCD CBR
    XVCD VBR
    XSVCD CBR
    XSVCD VBR
