I have a DVD player (RCA 5220P) that will play a VCD created with an older version of Nero (5.0?). I created another VCD with Nero 5.5.3.5 and the player doesn't recognize this. Is there some point after version 5.0 that they changed the compliance from 1.0 to 2.0? Is there any way around this? How about a burning app that will make it 1.0 compliant? I've also seen a reference to using an image file with Nero, but I can't find any other posts to know what they are talking about. If someone would be able to explain it, you would have my undying gratitude.

Nero 5.0 makes VCD 2.0. If you want VCD 1.0 or VCD 1.1, use VCDImager or the GUI VCDImagerEASY and burn the image with CDRWIN or even Nero.
