I record the various video CD formats at 4x or 8x (minimum speeds of the two burners I use.) This was after initially some of the CDs that I had burned at higher speeds exhibited problems when played in my DVD player. When I wrote the same CDs at slower rates the problems no longer occured.

For the sake of trying not to startup another debate on this subject:

I do not know what actually caused this problem/phenomenon, only that burning at slower speeds seemed to fix it. It might have been media, my specific CD players, my specific burners or anything.
