Can anyone tell me the standard maximum size of VCD, in megabytes, that you can fit on to a 80 min CDR.
I understand that file systems etc can take up some space and that the actual VCD sub-folder etc take up some too.
Very specifically can I fit a 738Mb mpeg 1 Video on an 80 min CD. And if it where a mpeg 2 video would it require more space.
Kind regards
Alan

Now as i understand it, the way it works is ---->
1 meg = 1 min
So if you have a 74 min cd you can get 740 meg on that
And if you have a 80 min cd you can get 800 meg on that.
So that 738 mpeg 1 video you have will definitly fit onto an 80 min, and will probably fit onto a 74 min cd <----(do a test write for this though) first so that you don't waste any cd's
Hope that helps.
