hey hey downloaded movies,,,look good on pc...but when encoded thru tmpg it lags on dvd player....need help on why is does this please![]()

First what format did you encode in? Then take a look to the left under DVD Players and see what the max bitrate (and what formats) are supported by your standalone.
It sounds like your standalone doesn't support the bitrate you choose (ie. bitrate is to high). -
it shows nothing about bitrate...i rip dvds perfectly with 1150bit...could it be the actuall movie...it happens to b every downloaded movie...is ther any way u can make it stop? im so confused

I just answered a similar question here . This is more than likely because the audio has a variable bitrate, and nothing to do with the bitrate of your encode.
