Having ripped and encoded the movie in tmpgenc with the svcd template,Nero now tells me that the mpeg is not Super Video CD Compliant anybody any idea whats causing this.

Nero is. Don't use it to author (S)VCD's - VCDEasy does a much better job. Use Nero for what it is: a CD writer.

My friend tried the same file with WinonCD 5 AND IT ACCEPTED IT NO PROBLEM. So much for Nero being the Bees Knees. I don't think so?.
