    I need a suggestion/help in selecting the right video capture card for capturing my video from cam corder (Sony Hi with analog output/s-video.

    hmmmm get a digital camcorder and use the firewire..

    Just kidding, but it works great. Just get a card that has an S-video in and you should be fine. I also have a canon Hi-8 and video that i capture using the s-video is great, on a ATI AIW. Any other way is not that good (except the digital camcorder which is really great).
