Ok i am looking for a capture card for my new laptop and there doesn't seem to be many choices.
I'm wondering if you guys can help me with a list not just the ones listed under the capture cards. There has got to be more than that.
I would also like to know if there are any video in/capture cards have a remote controll with them.
Thanks in advance

There are a few USB/USB2 devices out, but I haven't used them. Firewire is a good choice if you have the hard drive to do it. An external hard drive (on firewire) works well. Look into Canopus ADVC-100 and Datavideo DAC-100.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
I use the Hauppauge Win PVR/USB with my Dell latitude C600. I am very pleased with the performance of this device.
