When I make SVCDs from Divx with TMPEnc, I usually just choose Fullscreen (keep aspect ratio), but the sides still get chopped (120 pixels on each side). So would a better solution to keep everything the same when viewed on a standalone dvd player to resize the divx video to a resolution that would fit under 480x480 (after checking the resolution of the divx first)? Lets say you have divx resolutions of 640x352, 512x224, 640x480, 640x360. What would you need to do to each respective resolution so that it appears in its entirety when viewed on a standalong dvd player. Your help is appreciated, thank you.
