  1. What program can make a avi or mpeg which i can burn as SVCD from a jpg file????????

I would like to make a splash screen before the movie starts. I have a jpg format that must plays for a few seconds.

i tried VCDEasy, but the mpg (still mpg named in VCDEasy) i created isnt compatible to burn with Nero or other burn soft.

What is the best way to make this work??

You can use Gold Wave and TMPGEnc.

    1. Load Gold Wave Select-->New. Input how long you want the jpeg file to be displayed on your video. Select okay. Select File--Save As. Label the file crashbytewave. Save as a wave file.

    2. Load TMPGEnc. Turn off the wizard if it comes up. On the main program select your jpeg file as input video. Select the audio file as input audio. Choose crashbyteflash.mpg as the Output file name. Select Start.

    3. The resultant file will be a mpeg file that shows your jpeg file for as long as you chose the audio to last (the filenames I told you to use are arbitrary, of course). Have fun!
