I converted an DivX movie to VCD using the help from this site and the listed programs (TMPGEnc, VCDEasy, VirtualDub). Everything went smooth and the result works fine on my computer but when I try to watch it on my DVD (Philips DVD 723, it supports VCD) I see four pictures (on the height) instead of one and it's flickering. Has this got something to do with NTSC vs PAL? I burned it as NTSC Film format since it was 23.976fps.

    Thanks.

  3. sorry youve probably got your hopes up thinking someone has given u the answer seeing the reply. I would just like to say ive been getting the exact same problem as u and have wasted 4 cds trying to get it to work. Ive got a feeling the reason its hapenning is because u uahve to resize your image to 480x480 which im doing and hopefully will work and if it doesnt work this time, im going to try PAL but i think thats your main problem. So hopefully we both get this problem fixed
