  1. Howdy!
Im having a huge problem watching my burned SVCD movies on my DVD player, its a Samsung DVD M-205.
It says in the manual it only plays Vcd and not Svcd movies but, i can play like 80% of the movies burned as Svcd, most of the times the picture just freezes or 'hacks' like in slow motion.
Is there something i can do when i burn the cd's that will make them work better, or is it just luck that it plays alot of my Svcd movies when its not suppose to?
Im using Nero mostly, except when the movie's in bin/cue then i usually use CdrWin.
Maybe i have to burn movies real slow like 2x?
Would love some nice hints on this..
    Thanks alot Cya~

It could be the type of CDr you're using. Find a brand that plays on your DVD and record at fairly slow speed (4x maybe). Also, the SVCD's that won't run may have a bitrate that is just too high for your DVD player to read from the disk.

Play around with a good quality CDr, encoding some SVCD and testing, if it works try increasing the bitrate when encoding. Keep going until you find a maximum your DVD can handle then keep your SVCDs below that limit.
