I have several SVCDs I want to burn onto DVD-Rs. I was wondering if it would be possible to take advantage of the 4.7GB I have on each disc and be able to burn 2 of my 2.3GB SVCD files keeping the same SVCD format and not have to convert it. The only reason I'm asking is that in an earlier post in this forum somebody mentioned that when you would put a DVD-R in a standalone player it would look for the DVD structure. But since I'm burning SVCD files I was wondering if I were to burn these would the standalone DVD player be able to recognize the SVCD format even if it's on a DVD. Thanks for all your help in advance!
