ross while i agree that process is quicker-- i dont think it is the best process. alot of dvd players wont play this xDVD format-- it works on all my pioneer players but i've found that alot of my friends players don't work with this pseudo dvd format. plus i have found that hexeditor takes FOREVER to open the files and takes forever to save them once edited.

  5. Hi, i tried the MPT 0.63 and got some problems. the first part of the process is to extract the mpg fils from 3 svcd-images and join them to one, this works well. after that the demux starts and something goes wrong:

    /Users/braxxxxx/Desktop/DVD:SVCD:VCD/MediaPowerTool 0.6.3/MediaPowerTool.app/Contents/Resources/shell: mp2enc: command not found
    input: /Volumes/Fire 1/Filme/Boxxex2/joined-0.mp2
    (44.1 kHz, 2 channels, MPEG-1 Layer II)
output: <stdout> (16 bit, Microsoft WAVE)
skipping initial 241 samples (encoder+decoder delay)
    Frame# 2/283508 192 kbps appending File Browser
    CFBundleLoadExecutableCFBundleGetFunctionPointerFo rNamePluginObject:etDispatch (0x374658)CFBundleLoadExecutableCFBundleGetFunctio nPointe...

It leaves me with a "joined-0.m2v" file (1.98 GB) whitch isnīt recongnized by DVD studio pro, and a "joined-3.m2v" file of 4 kb. and then things stop:

    ...ject:etDispatch (0x987AA4)CFBundleLoadExecutableCFBundleGetFunctio nPointerForNamePluginObject:etDispatch (0x124D3D4)setting Path to /Volumes/Fire 1/Filme/Bondex2/joined-0.m1v
    appending File Streamer
    setting PacketSize to 16384
    appending MPEG Decoder
    appending Scaler
    setting Height to 576
    setting LowQuality to false
    setting Width to 720
    appending Color Conversion
    appending MPEG Encoder =
    [Bxxxo-Cube:~] bxxxo%

Iīve installed mediapipe 0.89 r2. but it didnīt put the app in the applicatins folder and the cli file not in the usr-bin folder. therfore i dit it manually.

    thx for all help
