    I been encoding avi to mpeg for a few months now with tmpgenc. Now when I try it says cannot open or unsupported. I thought it might be the encoder so I got xing and it says improperly installed vfw decompressor handler for avi files. tmpgenc worked for a long time, what did I screw up?

    1)u sure its an avi not sumtin with a strange extention?
    2)did you uncompress the audio?
