I'm trying to back up capture of 1-hour of DV tape onto four DVD-Rs using Nero 5.5.10.0. I did the capture in four 15-minute segments which resulted in ~3.3 GB per segment. Now when I try to use Nero to burn a segment to DVD-R I get a message saying I need to do this in UDF format. The ISO won't support files larger than 2-GB. I know I'm missing something obvious here but how to switch the format from ISO to UDF?

UDF/ISO should be the last option in DVD panel in Nero. But UDF/ISO has the same 2GB file limit. You need to author the files.

I was able to write these files to DVD-R using "Veritas RecordNow", which was software that came with my DRU-500a drive. The files verified and I was able to view them on my DVD-ROM drive. Am I missing something here? What format is "Veritas RecordNow" Using?

If you want the dvd to play on a standalone dvd player you must author it(make vob files)
