    How do I make stills/screenshots of a divx 5 file? I know it's possible but how???

    or open the divx in virtualdub and press printscreen and the paste it in any image tool.

    PowerDVD plays DivX files.
    It captures still images too.

    Also if you turn off hardware acceleration you can take screenshots with print screen in windows media player.
