I'm having a problem with DVD Workshop regarding menu music.
My movies on DWS-created discs play fine through my audio system (I use Besweet/TMPGEnc to render mpegs with AC-3).
But the music on my menus is silent unless I use my DVD player's analog outputs and my receiver's analog inputs.
Apparently my DVD player's D/A converters can recognize the menu music, but my receiver's digital surround circuitry can't. DWS can't accept AC-3 audio files by themselves (they have to be pre-muxed with the video), so I've been using WAV files. Still nothing.
Does DWS convert menu music to MPEG1L2 format or something?
Can someone tell me how to get DWS to render menu music that will play on an older surround receiver that doesn't do MPEG1L2?
Thanks...
