Yo to all and Merry Christmas from Oz,

Having been a consistent user of various DV capture/encode, convert wav/mpa, mux, re-mux, author DVD etc programs over a couple of years it came as a pleasant surprise to start using NeoDVD V4.1. At Best quality settings I can create a picture menu and "suck in" my DV via firewire and burn to DVD (+RW in this case) in two minutes more than the actual DV content runs for.........FANTASTIC!!!!!! Best quality produces VBR mpeg2 @ approx ave 7.5mbps and LPCM audio (1536kbps), or approx 70 min on 4.7g disc. Playback is possible with +VR on most DVD players (+RW compatability is all that's required) and the advantage of +VR is I can edit and add to the DVD whenever I choose. DVD Video authoring (if you have -R/RW burner or if you prefer not to use +VR features) direct is also possible BUT finalising is required for this.
I am interested in finding others who have used NeoDVD in this way and can perhaps share some tips and tricks eg Can the audio be transcoded "on the fly" to AC3 so that the mux file size can devote more to video ie more minutes on Disc at Best Quality settings?
Would love to see feedback on this program and others capable of REAL TIME encoding to DVD from DV.

PS Just made a MiniDVD using DVD-Video settings on NeoDVD...4min31sec Video at Best setting gives a 300meg MiniDVD so approx 10min miniDVD's are easily possible...naturally not playable on too many things apart from PC but anyway. Whole process took less than 10mins. Anyone else has tried/used this prog???
