ive just captured a clip on 155mb in mpeg2 codec with my Winfast2000xp card. But when i should import the clip to Adobe Primire i get this "Unable to open that file, file is an unsuported file". I tried to import mpeg1 and it worked just fine. What is wrong? I can watch the clip in windows mediaplayer. Do i need another codec to use in Primiere?

Premiere can't edit mpeg? A you referring to 6.5 with mpeg support? It probably only exports?
If you need to edit in mpeg without spoiling clip quality you can use tmpenc tools.
There a few other tools which can edit mpeg 2 and most of them have synchronisation issues bar one but you'll have to pay for it. (m2-edit)
But I would seriously suggest using AVI if you want to edit as you'll hit all sorts of synchronization issues. -
Ok thanks, ive used primiere 6,0. Then i have to fing a good *.avi codec. Should i use DivX then?

I'm not sure if it works with Premiere since I don't have it, but you could try frameserving your MPEG2 file through dvd2avi or VFAPI. This site has guides talking about frameserving.
The best way to capture is usually either uncompressed AVI or HuffyUV, some people also like some of the MJPEG codecs. Those all tend to require huge amounts of disk space. Divx is usually a poor choice for something that you're going to make in to a VCD/SVCD to watch on a TV, and it's usually very CPU-intensive so real-time encoding may not work too well.
