    you're actually going to lose quality by reencoding, so, it would be a waste of time--the absolute best you could hope for would be to keep the same quality...but I doubt you will even do that

  4. by the subject line of your post, I am assuming that you are currently using a product called DVD2SVCD (actually it is CVD). That is about as "one click" as you can get. You will have to get TMGENC or CCE(2.5) to work as the encode for the product, however, DVD2SVCD does all of the calculations for you (after the initial set up).
