  1. I am having a problem. I have an .avi that plays perfectly on my PC. I have all the codecs (3.11, 4, 5, Nimo Pack). Here is the problem.

When I convert it to .mpg with TMPGEnc, the screen is a pink color. I read the most common problems portion of the website and it said to set the VFAPI to a higher priority in environmental settings. Well, I did that and it worked... sorta. The pink was gone, but the .mpg was only getting like 6FPS and it had big blotchy spots all over the screen. It was impossible to watch on my PC, yet alone on a VCD.

Well, I changed the VFAPI to a lower priority, and re converted. The resulting .mpg ran at the original FPS but it still did the pink thing. Im stuck, anyone help? Cheers.
