  1. When I have a SVCD or something and i play the mpg on my pc it plays great. But many times after I burned it it goes bizar, stutters, many many green blocks all over the screen, and then it freezes and the sound goes all weird too.

What also weird is is thast with monsters inc cd1 and the first half of cd played amazing and then suddenly it started at the end of cd2.

I have the problem on both my sony dvp-ns305 and on my pc.. oh and on pc the blockyness is worse then in the dvdplayer and it freezes earlier.

I assume it has something to do with eather my writer or the media, but if someone knows this problem and has a solution i would be delighted to hear it.

Oh and its not because i burn it at too high speed cause i burn at 4x

oh and sometimes it starts and never stops and only get worse and sometimes its just for a few secs

    BTW: I use nero 5.5.9.0

  2. Here's some questions you can use to narrow down the problem.
    1) Is the source file before you transcode it ok?
    2) After you have transcoded it is it ok?
    3) Is it still ok after you have authored it? (check by authoring to your hard disk first)
    4) Does it go bad after you burn it?
    5) Does the CD play bad on all players (your pc and your set top)?
    6) Does it play bad after you've copied the CD back to the hard disk?

I have seen these green blocks before, and usually (for me) they were in the source file already.
Also before you transcode, check the source for bad parts with virtualdub, divfix, etc.., although they're not likely to catch those green blocks.
