Is it possible to put an 68min file in SVCD format to a 80min CD? It is now coding in Nero, and about 7hours left.
So is that possible or should I just cancel the encoding?

Minutes are Irrelevant, filesize (determined by bitrate) is all that matters.
80 minute CD holds 800 MB, if file is over 814, or 830 or so with overburn, it won't fit.
