ULEAD does not recognize DVD MPEG file

Just when I thought I had success

I converted another home video AVI to MPEG 2 DVD with TMPG. Smae HIGH setting. Now when I open DVD movie factory and want to create menu and burn, it will not open the MPEG . Says it is not a DVD mpeg file...

Is this a TMPG bug on creation or a ULEAD problem in being narrow ? HELP !

Are you sure you used the DVD template? Proper NTSC or PAL?

Yeah I did...and now I am further 'screwed'. The motion blur problem which has been fixed for several weeks is mysteriously back...UGGGGGG

My 720 by 480 AVI capture gets converted in TMPG and was great..No the interlace BLUR is back (yes, even on tv) and I DONT KNOW WHY ....NOOOOOOOOOOOOO...Took me two weeks to fix this, been working fine and SOMETHING has gotton in there and screwed the pooch...

Now I have it working perfect again.

Here is the trick(I should write a guide)
source is AVI 720 by 480 captured in virtual dub and then produced (same settings ) in Sonic Video factory. Could be any 720 by 480 avi.

I am going to write a very easy , dteailed guide from AVI capture, to TMPG , to the link for ULEAD DVD MOVIE factory for final burn. Every one is picture perfect now..No sync issue, quality excellent and best of all , REPEATABLE...LOL

I'm having the same problems using the help guide for Pal settings. Where is the TEMPGEnc forum?
