TV capturing

Hi there all,
can I capture from TV using the following way :

Use a TV card to get the TV signal on my PC and then use another card (say PC30+) to capture from the TV.

Is that possible ?

What make is your card? It may already have a capturing program with it.

Because usually TV cards have poor capturing quality !!!

What you are talking about doing is:

1. RF signal in
2. Send to tuner
3. Convert output to digital
4. Send to video driver
5. Send back to card
6. Convert back to analog
7. Send to video out
8. Analog video signal in
9. Convert to digital
10. Send to capture card driver
11. Send to capture card software

Do you think after all that you'll end up with a better picture?!?!

You would be better off just connecting a good VCR to your capture card. The tuners in VCR's are usually better than average and you can also capture taped programs.
