I have an mpg file that I have de-muxed into .m2v and .mpa streams.
I am trying to use the latest IFOEdit to author to a DVD.

IFOEdit accepts both of these streams just fine. However, after it's finished muxing them into VOB files, there is no audio!
The report IFOEdit generates shows the video info but no audio info.

I have opened the VOB in mpeg2vcr and it confirms there is no audio.

Now, I have previously succeded in authoring with IFOEdit using AC3 audio. However, IFOEdit does not complain about my mpa file, and in fact the drop down in the audio file selection window shows mpa as one of the options.

I have played the mpa file in media player and it plays fine.

I have tried converting the audio into AC3 using Soundforge Soft Encode, but the resulting AC3 file is just static.

    Any ideas?

    No answers, huh?

Well, I tried de-muxing the file with another program (VideoPack5) and IFOEdit successfully created a DVD with working audio.

I had originally used Xmuxer to de-mux.

Funny thing is, the Xmuxer mpa file did have audio, I know because I played it with media player.
But for some reason, IFOEdit didn't like it.

Does the maker of IFOEdit have someplace to report possible bugs?

I have the same problem with no audio if using mpa files(mpeg1 layer2) and haven't find any solution.
