I have a relatively new Phillips IDE burner that can burn at 8x. I'm trying to burn the bin/cue files which I created from my DVD2SVCD output. . however neither of these proggies can detect the burner because it doesn't use ASPI. .. any ideas? Nero wasn't burning the cue's properly for some reason and so I need another solution.
Thanks.

Hey. I have exactly the same problem with my AOPen burner. This burner only works with Nero. Tried Adaptec, CDRWIn and Fireburner. Won't work. In case you find a solution, can you e-mail at lino.david@usa.net? We may have different brands but I think it's worth a try.
I'll do my own research. First stop I think is the manufacturer's website. I'm doing that right now.
Thanks! -
EZ CD Creator works fine for me . . .and I"ll probably use a bin2iso converter. . but I was hoping not to do that. .

You guys may want to try getting a new version of Aspi. It fixed alot of my problems. Since you both have a copy of Adaptec, try looking through the adaptec setup files for an aspi file. Run that, and then go to http://www.roxio.com and get a new upgraded version of Aspi.
Hope it helps =)
