  2. yes, virtualDub is

    How?
    Open your avi
    VIDEO -> FULL PROCESSING MODE
    VIDEO -> FRAME RATE -> CHANGE TO X FPS (X =25, 60,30,23.976,29.976
    AUDIO -> DIRECT STREAM COPY
    FILE -> SAVE AS AVI

    i know it takes a while, but when it's done you'll have a movie in the frame rate you want

    If I do it the way you discribe, the file becames much too big. Its more then 4 gb after 3 min and my disk can't handle that much, and after 30 minutes its more then 30 gb possiblily. IS there another way to convert it or am i doing something wrong?

  5. Sounds like your saving it as an uncompressed avi. Select video, direct stream copy. Not full processing mode.

  6. If you want to make a VCD from this, just use TmpGenc and encode using the NTSC(film) template. The difference between your 24fps and the 23.97fps of NTSC(film) is so small you won't notice any problems.
