    Hi,

    I've converted a mpeg using DVD2AVI. What programme do I use to sync up the two resultant files?

    I want to out put the MS DV AVI to my Sony DV so that I can output it to VHS tape (long story).

    However when using either MGI VideoWave5 or Ulead VideoStudio6, I get error messages, which state they cannot write an AVI file: (MGI VW5 states" cannot write file: check HD space available or codec").

    What program can I use to join the two files, and also output to my camcorder?

    I have a silent .avi file, and a .mpa file which holds the audio track.

    Go to TMPGEnc, mux your files there.

    Hi,

    Doesn't TMPGEnc encode to mpeg? I want to encode to AVI. Will "muxing" (and how do I do that?) encode the file to AVI?

    on the file tab, select output to file->avi file. then you can select your compression for your video and audio.
