    how do i do videos in .wmv?

    is there soemthing like a codec or so?
    i'm working a lot with adobe premiere, and i'd like to make videos in WMV!

    any help appreciated

    You can capture straight into Windows Movie Maker. Or, I do not if this is possible, but can you save your final product as a .wmv file in Adobe Premiere?

  3. Yep, Premiere 6 and above allows you to export to WMV format.

    Microsoft's WMV Encoder doesn't seem to like MPEG1 files... on my system anyways. But it does work on ASF files nicely.

    Vegas Video does a nice job of encoding WMV files.

    I never had use for WMV before (I just dislike proprietary formats), but after running a sample encode (I ripped my DVD of Dawn of the Dead) for a test on my BE-300 PDA... I am hooked!
