No, I have Terratec TValue and on www.terratec.net I found some notes about PowerDirector Pro and then I found on web about it, and it seems it is the best sw for video editing ever made. I?m not buying that marketing hype so I'd like to hear some example for a real life.

I'm using PowerDirector Standard not the Pro, there should not be any big difference anyway. This thing makes a good capture (better than UV6, in
my experience) from an analog source. Good editing features too(but UV6 is simpler to use). This thing has no authoring feature though, you have to use
other burning programs like Nero etc.
You can create Customize MPEG2 template for capturing (usually I use CBR 7000kbps to capture from VHS). Then I use TMPG to encode it into
VCD/X(S)VCD format. I dont use it to create MPEG1 video coz the result is
quite bad (UV6 is better in MPEG1 but still way beyond TMPGenc), I use it only for capturing and sometimes editing.
good luck! -
power director pro has authoring feature, the standard doesn't
