  1. I try to cut MPEG-1 file that is got by pv-231, but the part has no sound at all after the process.
    The original file has:
    Video-stream: MPEG-1 Video 352x240 29.97fps 1150kbps
    Audio-stream: MPEG-1 Audio Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps

When I try to de-multiplex, multiplex and cut the result - everything is Ok, but is there any way don't spend the time for it?
    I'm afraid sink problems also...

    Thanks!

You may want to try an external encoder. TooLame or Lame should do the trick for you. Once you download and and extract it, just tell TMPGEnc where to find from the Options-->Environmental setting-->External Tool tab. TMPGenc's resident encoder is problematic at best.
    Hello.

  3. No shortcut, TMPGEnc won't recognize the audio track of the MPEG file generated by PV231 or PV233. Demux then Mux is probably the only way. I welcome other shortcut suggestions.

Since the file is MPEG-1, you can use Virtual Dub or Gold Wave to extract the audio as well. Maybe one of those will work.
    Hello.
